What we collect
- An anonymous account, created on first launch: a random key kept on your phone; our server only keeps its hash.
- Your profile answers: track (new to this or box athlete), level, gear, session length, and the day's setup when you change it.
- Your workouts: date, the WOD, your score and, if you tap it, how it felt. Your lifting records: movement, reps, load, date.
- The day of your last visit, updated at most once an hour, to know whether the app is still used.
- Server logs: IP address and requests, used for security (limiting abusive account creation), rotated within days.
Why: to generate your daily WOD and show your history. Legal basis: performance of the service you use (GDPR art. 6.1.b), and our legitimate interest in keeping it secure for the logs (art. 6.1.f).
What we don't
No email, no name, no password, no location, no contacts, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no tracking across apps. Nothing is sold or shared.
Where it's stored
On a server run by OVHcloud in the European Union. The app also keeps your key, a copy of your profile, today's WOD and scores not yet sent on your phone, so it works offline. Google's Android backup may include them, which lets you recover your account on a new phone. Kept as long as your account exists.
Deleting your data
In the app: Profile → Delete my account. Your profile, workouts and records are erased from our server at once, and the copies on the phone too. Without the app, see Delete account.
Third parties
OVHcloud hosts the server (processor, EU). Google Play distributes the app and gives us anonymous install and crash statistics under Google's own terms. Android backup is run by Google if you turned it on. This website loads no third-party script, font or tracker.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection: in the app or by writing to contact@wodcraft.app. We answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and anything that changes what we collect will be shown in the app before it applies.
