L-Sit Hold: how to do it
Supported on locked arms with the hips off the floor, hold the legs straight out in front, at least parallel to the floor, for the seconds shown.
NO EQUIPMENTStep by step

01 Arms locked, shoulders down, legs straight; tuck if the legs drop.
Avoid: shrugged shoulders, sinking between the arms: the shoulders strain.
In short
- Hands on the floor, parallettes or two sturdy chairs that cannot slide, arms locked
- Push the shoulders down, away from the ears
- Legs straight and together, toes pointed; tuck the knees rather than drop the legs
Common faults
- Shrugged shoulders, sinking between the arms: the shoulders take the strain
- Legs dropping or back slumping: it is no longer an L, tuck the knees to keep holding
